I am definitely sold on these new Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700! We do our fair share of traveling by air. At least once per year we travel to Japan and/or somewhere else internationally. There’s a bunch of noise in airports and airplanes. I have a pretty bad fear of flying so I listen to white noise and meditative apps. Before these headphones, I normally used fairly cheap earbuds. While they work, you can often hear sounds in the background. I no longer have this problem. There are 11 levels of noise cancellation for the 700 headphones. You can tailor your listening experience to be either totally immersive or just background music so you can hear important things going on around you. Also the four microphone system on these is so nice! I was fairly impressed by the sound quality of my voice when I used it during my first phone call.
Wireless Life
These headphones can get up to 20 hours of wireless battery life! Honestly, when we travel I always have a small fear that I will forget to charge or not charge my devices enough. I am constantly making sure that all of our equipment has a high battery life so that we don’t have to worry about losing power halfway through an airplane ride or an airport layover. But with these headphones I am now confident that they can take most trips in one charge.
Voice Control
Another really useful feature that I am loving right now is the voice control. The 700 allows you to access its controls hands free by using a programmed ‘wake-up word’ making it easy to take memos or calls on the go. Plus, there’s ear-cup controls on the right side so you can manually dial in your settings to your preference. Bose has gone above and beyond in Augmented Reality (AR) technology. Bose AR is a new audio AR technology and platform that uses a combination of sensors built into the headphones to superimpose sound on top of the real world. People with iOS devices can experience Bose AR by downloading, and opening the Bose Music app to view the Bose AR Showcase.
